Not for a moment, I was uneasy or skeptical about her capabilities to represent my PR application. Vanessa is very well versed in the field of Canadian immigration, dealing with the immigration officials, and stays on top of frequent changes to the immigration system and processes, especially how the entire process flipped multiple times during the pandemic. For a good lawyer, good and principled communication with clients is the top priority, and Vanessa and her team (Nevine) are 10/10 with this. Vanessa Routley Law Firm stood out. During our first consultation, Vanessa patiently listened to our very colorful immigration case in the USA then provided us with all options available - The pros and the cons of each option and really left it up to us to choose from.
Since my wife was planning on finishing up her Bachelor Degree, we went with that option of student visa for her so that i could follow her with a working visa and support her while she could focus on going to school.
I came to the USA back in 2011 on visitor’s visa. Unfortunately all attempts to get a permanent resident card after over staying my visa in the USA have failed.
Even being married with a US citizen, having three children and owning a house.
My case is currently seating before the USA Board of Immigration when only God knows when it will ever be considered for review.
The last ten plus years for my family and I have been a real struggle. I have not been able to see any of my siblings.
My wife student permit was submitted by Vanessa's office and was approved within couple of weeks.On the other hand, when Vanessa first submit my case for work permit, it was denied.
Vanessa thought the decision was unfair because of the strong case her and her team had put together. She did not give up on us. Instant she went above and beyond and promised to take on the case with absolutely no extra fees.

I am already with another lawyer, and although I am disappointed over the experience I do appreciate her calling to apologize personally and making it up, which speaks of her, and makes me hopeful that my case was just an isolated instance.We did a lot of research on her, as we had found a video about her helping with immigration from U.S. to Canada, and it all seemed perfect. We set up a consultation in early February 2021. Mrs. Vanessa appeared professional, empathetic, and knowledgeable explaining different options for us. She told us she would gladly take our case, and calmed our fears about the process. She told us to take a week to make a decision "as nothing is going to change in a week" and from there we will sign the agreement and pay the first portion. We waited a week and contacted her to the only email I had to the firm from the questionnaire sent before the consult. However, we did not get a response. I waited another week, and found a 1(888) number in the website, the receptionist stated she would relay the message to Vanessa who had stepped out. Again, no response. We never got a response. I am extremely disappointed, regardless if there was some miscommunication, if she was busy, or if she simply could not take on our case- or did not want to, I wish I would have been given the respect to be called or emailed back by her or someone in her team.
